Financial research serving market professionals
The Europlace Institute of Finance (EIF), a foundation recognized as serving the public interest, aims to develop financial research on the European and international levels.
Since its creation in 2003, the EIF has played a role in levering on the quality of French research through exchanges between the academic and financial areas, the financing of publications, and international conferences on banking, finance, and insurance.
Today, thanks to the support of its founding members and donors for the period 2010-2014, the EIF wishes to strengthen its role as trailblazer in the post-crisis landscape. This ambition is defined along three essential lines:
- Improve coordination of multidisciplinary research actions in partnership with the Institute Louis Bachelier, supervision framework
- Strengthen the vital link between academic research and professional interests,
- Encourage the implementation of collaborative projects and events on a European and international scale.
The future of the finance sector - it's security, competitiveness, and growth - is at stake.
